“Grace Infantino” rang through the speakers as I watched her on the large projection screen, walking across the stage to receive her high-school diploma.
Congratulations to Grace, and you for raising such a beautiful young woman. It IS really sad when they leave. It's definitely a kind of grief. Parenting isn't over though, as I thought. And actually, parenting the college years have been some of the toughest parenting years for me. Right now, the older kid has graduated college and she's living back home. The parenting journey just keeps changing. Big love to you all.
Thank you so much, Jenna. For sure, I expect to be parenting in some form until I die. But the thought of her not being in my home anymore is just so...foreign?
I know. It’s totally bizarre and weird and you’ll walk around in a daze for weeks when they move out/go to college. Then it gets normal, and life goes on. Then they come back and life is chaos again.
You’ve given Grace an incredible gift of being such a supportive and loving dad. She is going to go into her next chapter ready to handle anything, knowing you are there for her always. Congrats to Grace for all her accomplishments and be proud of all you have done CJ!
Congratulations to Grace, and you must be so so so proud of her! I can tell you're and amazing dad 🙌🏻

I will absolutely celebrate Grace with you, CJ.
I'll also say as a father of an "almost" 30 year old daughter...
your job may be changing, but it's far from over :-).
Thank you so much, Kevin!
For sure! It is changing. A new stage for me. I'm not even sure what to expect.

Thank you so much, Alicia. 🫶 And thanks for always being there when I needed an ear to listen.
